**Shell Moulding & Shell Core Expert**

Foundry Type: Non-Ferrous (Brass, Gunmetal, Bronze)

**Who We’re Looking For**

We need **someone who understands shell moulding and shell core making inside out** — someone who has **worked hands-on**, knows **how to set up the process**, run it daily, and solve real-life problems that come up in production.

**Must Have**:

- Strong experience in **Shell Moulding + Shell Core** process
- Knowledge of **core shooter machines**, **core ovens**, shell sand prep, and parting lines
- Can troubleshoot issues like:

- Core breakage
- Moisture in core
- Improper shell buildup
- Surface defects in casting

**Great to Have**:

- Experience working with **non-ferrous alloys** like **brass, bronze, gunmetal**:

- Understanding of how these metals behave during melting, pouring, and solidification
- Basic metallurgical knowledge (e.g. zinc loss, temperature control)

What We Expect You To Know
- Which **sand** and **resins** to use for best shell strength
- How to control **core oven timings and temperature**:

- Shell coating thickness, venting, and drying
- Setting up for **complex cores** and **thin walls (5mm)**:

- Casting problems (surface roughness, inclusions, porosity) and how to fix them

Equipment You Should Know:

- Core Shooter (manual or semi-auto)
- Shell Core Oven
- Gravity Die (GDC) Machines
- Degassing tablets or gas setup
- Basic spectro or metallurgical tools

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
