Database Administrator Ii

Must Have Skills:

- Experience on MSSQL SERVER 2008/2012/2014/2016/2019.
- Experience in Installing, configuring, troubleshooting Failover cluster and SQL Always On environments.
- Database Server Configurations
- Implement and maintain database security.
- High Availability configurations
- Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting, Monitoring & Troubleshooting databases, capacity management.
- Conduct proactive database monitoring and maintenance.
- Configure database replication & Log shipping.
- Set up and maintain database backups.
- Triage database alerts and issues work with more senior team members to troubleshoot, identify root cause and implement corrective action.
- Communicate with third party software vendors, as needed, to triage support issues
- Strong interpersonal skills needed to effectively communicate with customers and business stakeholders.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.

**Basic Qualifications**
- At least 5 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

- At least 1 year database, system administration and/or system engineering work experience
- At least 4 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Operational Research, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
