**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement engaging and rigorous lesson plans aligned with the IB Social Studies curriculum, including courses such as History, Geography, Economics, Politics, or Anthropology.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and assessment methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and promote student inquiry, analysis, and reflection.
- Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment where students feel empowered to express their ideas, challenge assumptions, and engage in meaningful dialogue about complex social issues.
- Integrate interdisciplinary perspectives and real-world examples into lessons to help students make connections between course content and contemporary global issues.
- Provide guidance and support to students completing internal assessments, extended essays, and other IB requirements, helping them develop research, writing, and presentation skills.
- Facilitate discussions, debates, simulations, and experiential learning activities to deepen students' understanding of historical events, cultural diversity, economic systems, and political structures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, share resources, and support the holistic development of students within the IB program.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and stakeholders to provide updates on student progress, upcoming assignments, and opportunities for enrichment.
- Stay informed about developments in the field of social studies education, including changes to IB curriculum frameworks, assessment standards, and pedagogical best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Studies, History, Political Science, Geography, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience teaching social studies at the high school level, preferably in an IB or international school setting.
- Knowledge of the IB Diploma Programme (DP) or Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework, including its approaches to teaching and learning, assessment practices, and learner profile attributes.
- Strong content knowledge in one or more social studies disciplines, as well as a willingness to engage in interdisciplinary teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Commitment to fostering critical thinking, empathy, and global citizenship through social studies education.
- Ability to differentiate instruction and support the academic and socio-emotional needs of all students, including English language learners and students with diverse learning styles or abilities.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced educational environment.

Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
