**Position**: Billing Assistant
**Department**: Finance/Accounts
**Reports to**: Billing Manager/Senior Accountant

**Summary**:
The Billing Assistant is responsible for managing the billing processes of the organization, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, maintaining financial records, and assisting in the resolution of billing discrepancies. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Invoice Generation and Management**:

- Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Ensure all invoices are accurate and complete with the necessary details.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collection of payments.
- **Record Keeping and Data Management**:

- Maintain and update customer records, including contact information and payment details.
- Enter billing information into the financial system accurately.
- Monitor and record billing activity and report on billing status.
- **Customer Service**:

- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing issues and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide billing information and address any concerns.
- Liaise with other departments to resolve billing-related issues.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to billing.
- Reconcile billing accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- **Support**:

- Provide administrative support to the billing department as needed.
- Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned by the Billing Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in billing, accounting, or a related field.
- **Skills**:

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹264,000.00 per year
