Job Description: Sustainability and BRSR Analyst

The Analyst will be required to have a good understanding of assessing, measuring and analyzing an organization’s environmental, social and governance performance. The role will involve leveraging accepted global/local methodologies and frameworks to perform the assessments. The analyst should be able to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend best practices to achieve the sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect and analyze data related to sustainability metrics, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting platforms.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information and data for the BRSR report.
- BRSR Report Preparation:
- Prepare the annual BRSR report in compliance with the guidelines set by regulatory authorities.
- Ensure the report accurately reflects the company’s sustainability initiatives and performance.
- Work with external auditors and consultants to verify the accuracy of the report.
- Sustainability Reporting:
- Develop and maintain sustainability reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on key sustainability performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify trends and opportunities for improvement in sustainability practices.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices related to sustainability and BRSR reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate sustainability initiatives and performance to stakeholders, including employees, customers, investors, and the community.
- Respond to inquiries related to the company’s sustainability practices and reports.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance the sustainability reporting process and the overall sustainability strategy.
- Support the development and implementation of sustainability projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of sustainability concepts and frameworks (e.g. BRSR, GRI, SASB).
- Experience with BRSR reporting and knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
