**Description**

**Mission Statement**:
Partner the business to optimize the reporting of accurate and concise financial data in an efficient and timely manner to Hitachi Group deadlines.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Drive and develop General Accounting improvements to our global ERP platform, liaise with CSSF Centers to ensure alignment with improvements. Involves the review of issues, investigate root causes, guide users, develop solutions and ensure any improvements are implemented successfully.
- Support and drive the standardization and adoption of global processes and procedures, supporting the elimination of local legacy work practices (where appropriate).
- Responsibility for overseeing and improving global general accounting transactional tools ie MJE workflow, provisions workflow etc. Discussing and following through with key users to ensure a successful implementation
- Provide Level 3 support to CSSF GA key users, including training and sharing knowledge / experience of finance processes to the wider population of CSSF GA.
- Support other R2R group functions with back up where needed (RE-FX, Blackline and others).

**Your Background**:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience.
- Meticulous, organized, ability to direct and see tasks to a successful conclusion.
- Self-Starter with an inquisitive nature with a positive willingness to improve & streamline processes to be more efficient.
- Sound knowledge of the S4 FI module, ideally at admin level.
- Good working Microsoft skills.
- Ability to globally communicate and deliver solutions to colleagues.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
