Audiologist

**Reporting Manager **:Program Coordinator

The Audiologist is responsible for diagnosing the hearing disorders by understanding the child's case history and conducting necessary assessments and then subsequently planning treatment or rehabilitation.
Conduct hearing Screening and awareness activities. fitment of hearing device and initiate basic counselling for the care givers.

An Audiologist uses technology, creative problem solving, and social skills to identify and treat hearing and other auditory disorders. The Audiologist helps children with these disorders better communicate and connect with world around them

**Requirements for the role**:

- Proficiency in Verbal Communication (English, Hindi and Marathi)
- Proficieny in basic computer skills - Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
- Persuasion - Persuading others to change their minds or behavior.
- Attention to Detail -Being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
- Innovation - Job requires creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas for and answers to work-related problems.
- Ability to establish trust and a positive rapport with children and work within ethical boundaries at all times
- Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
- Ability to maintain records as children with disabilities must be tracked for progress and improvement in development.
- Analytical and assessment skills

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelors in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology
- 1 year experience in Child Care roles

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Masters in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology

**Knowledge and Skills **-1-2 years of similar work experience

**Attitudes Required**

- Concern for Others - Being sensitive to others' needs and feelings and being understanding and helpful on the job.
- Having an inclination towards conducting research assignments or short study

**Responsibilities and KRAs**:

- Identifies, tests and diagnoses disorders of hearing and balance
- Interprets test results of behavioral and objective measures and prepares required reports and keeps the records of the same

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: Up to ₹540,000.00 per year
