Associate User Experience Designer

Lead small scale projects or work as part of a team under the direction of senior UX roles. Understand and advocate for client and end user needs. Work closely with cross-functional teams to help define business and feature requirements, user scenarios, and use cases.
- Create UX and design assets including process flows, site maps, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and mockups to effectively communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors.
- Present design concepts to the larger team in a clear and organized fashion.
- Work closely with product stakeholders to ensure a full understanding of the product teams needs and priorities.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and design reviews.
- Work within project timelines, deliver design assets based on product roadmap.
- Evangelize user experience and user-centered design throughout the company.
- Read and follow the UL Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Perform other tasks as directed.
- Bachelors' degree.
- Knowledge of FIGMA software and / or modern design / prototyping tools.
- 0-1 year of User Experience design experience or demonstrated competency.
- Demonstrated ability in one more additional areas of user-centered design such as; content strategy, information architecture, or visual design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in modern research, prototyping, and design tools.
- Strong practical knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, information architecture and interaction design.
- Take ownership for self-development, stay current with design patterns, best practices, and tools in the field of UX.
- Accept feedback and coaching from senior teammates.
