Crane Operator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Crane Operation**:

- Safely operate cranes to lift, move, position, or place materials and equipment.
- Handle various types of cranes, such as tower cranes, mobile cranes, or overhead cranes.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols during crane operations.
- Conduct pre-operation and post-operation inspections of cranes.
- Ensure the crane is set up and stabilized properly on-site.
- **Coordination**:

- Collaborate with site supervisors, riggers, and other team members to execute lifting plans effectively.
- Interpret load charts and calculate lifting capacities.
- **Maintenance**:

- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of the crane.
- Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team promptly.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate logs and records of crane activities and inspections.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- 3-4 years of proven experience as a crane operator.
- Valid crane operator certification/license.
- Familiarity with crane operating software and controls.
- Strong understanding of load calculations and crane safety procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and in diverse environments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or port operations.
- Familiarity with Chennai's local regulations and site conditions.

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
