**Job Summary**
- As a Sports Footwear Pattern Master, you will play a pivotal role in the development of high-performance athletic footwear. You will collaborate closely with design, development, and engineering teams to translate innovative concepts into precise patterns that optimize fit, performance, and durability. Your expertise in pattern-making techniques, understanding of sports biomechanics, and passion for athletic footwear will be essential in driving the success of our sports footwear products._

**Responsibilities**
- **Pattern Development**: The pattern master creates the initial patterns for sports footwear based on design sketches or concepts provided by the design team. This involves translating 2D designs into 3D patterns that can be used to construct the actual shoes.
- **Problem Solving**: They troubleshoot issues that arise during the pattern development and production process, finding solutions to technical challenges to ensure the successful execution of the design.
- **Prototype Creation**: They oversee the creation of prototype shoes using the patterns they have developed. This may involve working closely with sample makers and technicians to ensure that the prototypes accurately reflect the intended design.
- **Fit and Functionality**: The pattern master is responsible for ensuring that the fit and functionality of the footwear meet the required standards. They may need to make adjustments to the patterns based on feedback from wear testing and evaluations.
- **Material Selection**: They collaborate with material sourcing teams to select appropriate materials for the footwear based on performance requirements, cost considerations, and design preferences.
- **Quality Control**: The pattern master plays a role in quality control by reviewing prototypes and finished products to ensure that they meet quality standards and specifications.
- **Pattern Grading**: They may be involved in pattern grading, which involves scaling patterns up or down to create different sizes of footwear.
- **Documentation**: Keeping detailed records of patterns, revisions, and specifications is essential for consistency and future reference. The pattern master maintains accurate documentation throughout the design and production process.
- **Collaboration**: They collaborate closely with designers, engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders throughout the development process to ensure that the final product aligns with the vision and requirements.
- **Research and Innovation**: Staying updated on new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes in the footwear industry is important for innovation and continuous improvement. The pattern master may conduct research and experimentation to explore new techniques and approaches.

**Requirements and Skills**:

- Completion of high school diploma
- Previous role as a Patternmaker in performance shoes / sports shoes is required.
- Experienced in using measuring, snipping, milling, and cutting tools.
- Possesses a keen eye for detail.
- Capable of working efficiently within set time frames.
- Physically fit and able to sustain standing for extended durations.
- Immediate joining
