**Job Summary**:
Sri Ramakrishna Specialty Hospital Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a professional, courteous, and efficient Receptionist to join our dynamic front office team. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, playing a crucial role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience from the moment they enter the hospital. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Greet and Assist Visitors**:
- Welcome patients and visitors upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Direct patients and visitors to appropriate departments and services.
- Answer inquiries and provide information about hospital services and facilities.
- **Patient Registration**:
- Register new patients and update existing patient information accurately.
- Ensure all required forms are completed and necessary documentation is collected.
- **Appointment Scheduling**:
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
- Coordinate with various departments to manage appointment slots efficiently.
- **Telephone Management**:
- Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously.
- Redirect calls to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Take and relay messages accurately.
- **Administrative Support**:
- Maintain and update patient records in the hospital’s information system.
- Assist with billing inquiries and processing payments.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- **Coordination and Communication**:
- Liaise with medical staff and other hospital employees to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- **Customer Service**:
- Address and resolve patient complaints or concerns with empathy and efficiency.
- Enhance patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- **Experience**:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting, is an asset.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using computer systems and office software (e.g., MS Office, hospital information systems).
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
