Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Consultation:

- Meet with couples to discuss their wedding vision, preferences, budget, and specific requirements.
- Provide expert advice and suggestions on wedding themes, venues, vendors, and other key elements.
- Prepare detailed proposals and contracts based on client needs.

2. Budget Management:

- Create and manage wedding budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and within the agreed limits.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices and services.

3. Venue and Vendor Coordination:

- Research, recommend, and book wedding venues that align with the couple’s vision and budget.
- Coordinate with a network of trusted vendors, including caterers, florists, photographers, and entertainment providers.
- Schedule and attend vendor meetings, tastings, and site visits.

4. Event Design and Styling:

- Develop and execute the wedding design plan, including color schemes, decorations, lighting, and layout.
- Oversee the setup and styling of the venue on the wedding day, ensuring it meets the client’s expectations.

5. Timeline Management:

- Create a detailed wedding day timeline, outlining the schedule for all activities and vendor arrivals.
- Ensure all vendors adhere to the timeline and address any delays or issues promptly.

6. On-the-Day Coordination:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for the couple, guests, and vendors on the wedding day.
- Oversee the execution of the wedding, from the ceremony to the reception, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Handle any last-minute changes or emergencies calmly and efficiently.

7. Post-Wedding Follow-Up:

- Ensure all final payments to vendors are processed.
- Gather feedback from the couple and vendors to improve future services.
- Coordinate the return of any rented items and ensure all post-event details are completed.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a wedding planner or event coordinator.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected challenges.
- Creative mindset with the ability to bring unique ideas to life.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of current wedding trends and vendor networks.
- Flexible schedule, with the ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Preferred:

- Certification in event planning or a related field.
- A portfolio showcasing previous weddings or events managed.
- Strong negotiation skills and vendor relationships.

Working Conditions:

- The role may require extensive travel to venues and vendor meetings.
- Long hours, including evenings and weekends, are typical, especially close to the wedding date.
- The work environment can be high-stress due to tight deadlines and the emotional significance of the events.
