**Research Engineer-2**

(Structural - Linear/Non-linear, Thermostructural, Dynamic Analysis)

The available role is for an **M. Tech professional** with **more than** **two years of experience**,
- The incumbent will work on defined and exploratory projects, delivering results under the guidance of a senior research engineer

**Reporting Structure**:
This role reports to the Research Group Leader, providing the incumbent with readily available assistance and guidance.
- The findings of the incumbent are frequently checked for accuracy and are integral to the project’s conclusions

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to comprehend project requirements and develop simulation methodologies and optimizations with guidance
- Preferably, have knowledge of the commercial tool **ABAQUS Static/Dynamic** for conducting structural, optimization strategy, **ANSYS: Static - Structural, Thermo-structural, Fatigue, Creep, Fracture/Dynamic** simulations
- Demonstrate the ability to conduct lab-scale experiments using standard methods, such as design of experiments, to evaluate the feasibility of novel concepts proposed by researchers.
- Showcase innovation abilities and effectively communicate simulation results, providing design recommendations to process engineers. Take ownership of implementing designs at the shop floor.
- Mandatory excellent communication and presentation skills.

**Education and Experience**:

- M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 3-4 years of experience, emphasizing FEA-related activities
- Essential working knowledge of **modeling tools Solid works**, particularly **ABAQUS**:

- Strong fundamentals in structural and multi-physics domains are mandatory
- Preferred knowledge of FEA (pre & post-processing) and automation in Python or C/C++
