**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Lab Maintenance**:

- Maintain and manage computer lab equipment, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly.
- Install, configure, and update software and hardware as required.
- Ensure the lab is clean, organized, and conducive to a productive learning environment.

**Technical Support**:

- Provide technical support to faculty and students during lab sessions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of networking systems and infrastructure.

**Student Assistance**:

- Assist students with their lab assignments and projects, offering guidance and technical expertise.
- Provide one-on-one support to students needing extra help with lab-related tasks.

**Inventory Management**:

- Maintain an inventory of lab equipment and supplies.
- Order and restock supplies as necessary, ensuring all necessary materials are available for lab sessions.

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure all lab activities comply with safety standards and institutional policies.
- Educate students on proper use and handling of lab equipment and resources.

**Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain records of lab usage, equipment maintenance, and inventory.
- Assist in scheduling lab sessions and coordinating with faculty for lab requirements.

**Qualifications**:
**Educational Background**:

- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in networking or IT support are advantageous.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Strong understanding of network configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with various operating systems, programming languages, and development tools.

**Communication Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to students and faculty.

**Location Requirement**:Applicants must be residing in and around Pondicherry.
