Tpi - Ndt / Casting Inspection

**Job Title**: NDT Technician cum inspector (ASNT Level II - VT, MPI, PT, UT)

**Location**:kolhapur

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using the following techniques:
Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)

Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT / PT)

Visual Testing (VT)

Independently carry out inspections on a variety of component commodities, including:
Casting parts

Steel welded fabrications

Fabricated and machined components

Small and heavy fabrication-type parts

Conduct dimensional measurements as part of the inspection process.

Prepare detailed inspection reports, including test results, conclusions, and photographic evidence (if applicable).

Share inspection reports with clients for final review and conclusion.

Maintain accurate records of test results and comply with quality standards and safety procedures.

**Required Qualifications**:
Academic:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or

BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory - valid certificates must be produced)

**Certifications**:
Valid ASNT Level II Certification in UT, MPI, DPT, and VT (mandatory)

**Experience**:
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in NDT across the required methods and component types.

Preferred Skills:
Strong knowledge of NDT standards and procedures.

Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ISO, etc.)

Ability to interpret technical drawings and material specifications.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in using standard measuring instruments and NDT equipment.

Capable of working independently and producing high-quality reports for client submission.

Work Environment:
Site-based or shop-floor inspections, as per project requirements.

May require travel to client locations depending on inspection needs.
