Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Professional – ManufacturingLocation: PKL LIMITED, HyderabadDepartment: Quality AssuranceAbout the RolePKL LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Quality Assurance Professional to strengthen our QA function. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, hands-on manufacturing experience, and the ability to lead quality initiatives, audits, and customer engagements. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with statutory standards and driving continuous improvement across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Systems & ComplianceEnsure strict adherence to ISO, BIS, PESO, and other statutory/ regulatory requirements.Lead internal and external audits, customer audits, and certification processes.Oversee documentation, process standardization, and system improvements as per QMS requirements.Inspection & Quality ControlSupervise and guide inspection teams for inward, in-process, and final inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products.Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and maintenance of calibration records.Review and approve inspection reports, quality records, and acceptance criteria.Problem Solving & ImprovementsLead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce rejections/returns.Collaborate with production, design, procurement, and vendor teams to resolve quality issues.Customer & Cross-Functional CoordinationInteract with customers for quality clarifications, audits, approvals, and complaint resolution.Support vendor development activities, ensuring supplier quality compliance.Provide guidance to junior QA/QC staff and develop team capabilities.Qualifications & ExperienceB.Tech in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Production/Industrial Engineering or relevant field.6–8 years of experience in manufacturing QA/QC, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or senior role.Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, welding standards, and manufacturing inspection methods.Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and preparation of QA reports.Preferred certifications:ISO 9001 Internal AuditorSix Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt)NDT Level IIKey SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer-handling skillsLeadership and team-mentoring abilitiesThorough knowledge of QA methodologies, standards, and toolsIf you want, I can also prepare: ✅ A shorter version for job postings ✅ A social-media-friendly hiring post ✅ Separate JDs for Manager, Engineer & Junior Engineer roles
