Job Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring all products and components meet the company's quality standards in a mechanical manufacturing environment. This role involves inspecting materials, monitoring production processes, and conducting tests on finished products to verify they adhere to specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct dimensional and visual inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Perform routine tests and quality checks based on product specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
- Record and analyze inspection data to identify trends or recurring quality issues.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
- Identify and report any deviations in manufacturing processes that could affect product quality.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality control activities.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain logs of product quality issues.
- Document non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure proper tracking of rejected materials or parts.
- Investigate causes of defects and assist in root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Production teams to develop corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Ensure all products meet internal quality requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME).
- Stay updated on quality standards, regulations, and inspection methods relevant to mechanical manufacturing.
- Ensure inspection tools and measuring equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
- Report any issues with inspection equipment that may compromise accuracy or reliability.
- Propose improvements to inspection processes and quality standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and reducing defects.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; a diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a mechanical manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, ASME).
- Basic computer skills and experience with quality control software are a plus.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
