The Sous Chef for the Pizza Section is responsible for overseeing the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality pizzas. This role involves managing the pizza station, ensuring consistency, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the kitchen team. The Sous Chef also assists in menu development and ensures customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
**Key Responsibilities:Culinary Operations**
- Supervise and coordinate all activities in the pizza section, including preparation, baking, and plating.
- Ensure pizzas are prepared according to recipes, presentation standards, and customer preferences.
- Create and develop innovative pizza recipes and specials to enhance the menu.
- Maintain proper inventory of pizza ingredients and communicate replenishment needs.
**Team Leadership**
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff assigned to the pizza section.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the team follows proper cooking techniques.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
**Quality and Standards**
- Ensure all dishes meet the highest quality, taste, and consistency standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station, adhering to health and safety guidelines (e.g., HACCP).
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure functionality and safety.
**Collaboration and Support**
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and other kitchen sections to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
- Assist in planning menus, costing recipes, and controlling food wastage.
- Ensure effective communication between the pizza section and other departments.
**Key Skills and Qualifications:Education and Experience**:
- Certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent training.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with expertise in pizza preparation.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a pizzeria or similar establishment is preferred.
**Skills**:
- Expertise in pizza-making techniques, including dough preparation, shaping, and baking.
- Knowledge of traditional and modern pizza recipes and ingredients.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using pizza ovens (wood-fired, electric, or gas).
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Morning shift

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
