Testing Associate

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
As Test associate I, at JPMorgan Chase, we are looking for a tester to join the organization and play an integral role in transformational Global initiatives providing test services required for accelerating change program delivery. This role will work in partnership with project managers, technology and testing teams to define, design and build test deliverables.

**Responsibilities**:

- Day-to-day responsibility of leading the testing effort for assigned user stories covering analysis of user stories along with it’s impact on existing functionalities.
- Build test scenarios for regression coverage for existing functionalities
- Understanding the business requirements and translate into specific test scenarios and write test scripts
- Responsibility for the provision of accurate testing estimates.
- Utilisation of test automation tools, to enable the efficient and timely E2E test execution.
- Identifying opportunities to accelerate and synergise testing processes for assigned projects and syndicate the information to other team members to validate prior to implementation.
- Taking responsibility for the monitoring and reporting of Testing defects and the re-testing process.
- Validation and presentation of Test Results for internal Sign-off.
- Relevant testing experience in Client Onboarding with **Subject matter expertise in Know your customer (KYC)** for financial services industries
- Expertise in Agile project delivery methodology and skills to learn and work with evolving methodologies.
- Ability to work with the minimum of supervision on day-to-day activities.
- Strong organizational skills - ability to dynamically manage and oversee critical testing tasks accurately and to tight deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to firmwide standards, controls and intelligence automation solutions governance
- Partner closely with Operations, Product and Technology groups and ensure that UAT team priorities and needs are communicated effectively especially relating to Code Releases and Test environments.
- Experienced in using Business Driven Development / Test Driven Development test methodology or test case automation.
- Experienced in using Cucumber / Gherkin / Team City or a similar tool would be added advantage.
- Identification of testing automation opportunities and test synergies within the Project.

**Required qualification, skills and capabilities**:

- Bachelor's or Higher Degree
- 10+ years test design, execute and management experience within the Financial Services industry supporting Client Onboarding
- Expertise in Agile project delivery methodology and skilled to learn and work with evolving methodologies (required).
- Experienced in using of Cucumber / Gherkin / Team City or similar tool (Good to have).
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills (required)
