**SHIFT INCHARGE**

**Responsibilities**:
Ø Lead and supervise the production team during assigned shifts.

Ø Schedule and assign tasks to team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Ø Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations throughout the shift.

Ø Monitor and control the manufacturing processes for specialty chemicals, resins, pigments, and additives.

Ø Troubleshoot any operational issues and work towards continuous improvement.

Ø Ensure that production targets and quality standards are met.

Ø Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee product quality.

Ø Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.

Ø Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any quality-related concerns.

Ø Promote and enforce a culture of safety among the production team.

Ø Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.

Ø Investigate and report any accidents or incidents promptly.

Ø Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels.

Ø Coordinate with the logistics and procurement teams to ensure adequate stock levels.

Ø Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and losses.

Ø Maintain effective communication with other shifts, departments, and management.

Ø Report shift performance, issues, and achievements to the production manager.

Ø Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.

Ø Implement and support initiatives for cost reduction and waste minimization.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the chemical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of specialty chemicals, resins, pigments, and additives manufacturing processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in the chemical industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
