Scrum Master

**Summary**
We are seeking an eager individual with strong technical aptitude who wants to grow in the software field. The Scrum Master’s role is to help organize and deliver quality software projects to our customers. This position will work closely with Sr. Program Manager who will provide direction on scoping out large business initiatives, creating project plans, then scheduling tasks and resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.

**Responsibilities**
- Interfacing with Project Managers, QA and Software development teams
- Quality and functionality evaluation of pre-release and released software
- Documentation & Review of test plans
- Design and execution of test automation plans
- Use of Selenium automated test tool to create automated tests using C#
- Help expand the QA Automation presence in the projectAssist Sr. Program Manager with multiple approved projects running concurrently with Engineering and DevOps team for successful project execution
- Receive and understand documented business requirements to create tasks for Engineering and DevOps teams for prioritization and assignment
- Track and report on development team metrics such as velocity, risks, sprint burndown, release burndown, cumulative flow, etc. and work to improve the efficiency of the development team
- Organize bug queue reported from support team and relay issues to Engineering team for quick resolution
- Facilitate scrum ceremonies and processes (sprint planning, daily scrum, demos, retros)
- Ensure Sr. Program Manager’s involvement in business decisions and description of the desired functional flow
- Execute backlog & priorities as set by the Sr Program Manager
- Take responsibility for ensuring that estimates are always complete and accurate
- Take responsibility for ensuring that deliverables are on time and of production quality
- Identify and resolve all blockers, including gaps in functional specification and/or intra-team communication
- Help sustain a high level of motivation in the development and QA teams
- Assist QA team in creating test plans and testing efforts
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and disseminating information as needed
- Train and educate stakeholders on new features and functionality as needed
- Create an environment that empowers and energizes team members, with a focus on accountability, adaptability, and collaboration.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Scrum Master experience
- Agile Project Management (preferred)
- General knowledge of IT, DevOps and Development processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge in the use of Kanban Board, Development Ticketing Software, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

**Experience/Requirements**
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or similar disciplines (preferred)
- Agile or Scrum master certification such as CSM, PSM I, SAFe 4.0 Scrum Master, PMI - ACP (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Lead, or similar role within a software development team
- 3+ years of experience in IT, preferably with a Business Analyst or Development background
- Experience using Kanban board and Kanban development style
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
- Able to give and receive open, honest feedback and foster a respectful environment open to feedback and collaboration
- Work well with onsite and offshore resources
- Escalate problems and questions when needed
- Understanding of SDLC and software development processes

**Office Timings**:

- Morning Shift : 10:00 AM IST to 7:00 PM IST | Monday - Friday
- General Shift : 01:00 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST | Monday - Friday

**Salary**: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
