- **Lead Generation**: Generating leads through various methods such as cold calling, prospecting, networking, and attending trade shows or events is a crucial aspect of the job. Sales representatives actively seek out new opportunities to expand the customer base and increase sales.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers is essential for repeat business and customer loyalty. Sales representatives follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction, address any issues, and foster long-term relationships.
