Food Innovative Officer

**Position Overview**
A two-decade old company wishes to set up a new start-up in Food Industry. As a Food Innovation Executive, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute innovative food ideas and concepts, with a particular emphasis on creating dishes/ snacks that are healthy foods. You will play a crucial role in driving culinary innovation within our organization, helping us meet the growing demand for healthier food choices without compromising on taste and quality.
**Responsibilities**
Research and stay up-to-date on current food trends, industry innovations, and customer preferences related to healthy and oil-free and sugar-free cooking.
Conduct extensive recipe testing, ensuring that the developed recipes meet the desired nutritional criteria and culinary standards.
Experiment with different cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles to create innovative and flavorful dishes that are low in oil or oil-free.
Stay informed about the latest advancements in cooking equipment and technology that promote healthier cooking methods.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences related to oil-free or low-oil cooking.
Collaborate with internal partners, such as suppliers and culinary experts, to source high-quality ingredients and gain insights into innovative cooking techniques.
Keep detailed records of recipe development, including ingredient measurements, cooking methods, and results, for documentation and future reference.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of developed food products in terms of taste, texture, nutritional value, and market acceptance.
Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to food safety, labelling, and nutritional claims.
**Qualifications**
Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Strong passion for food and cooking, with a deep understanding of flavor profiles, ingredients, and culinary techniques.
In-depth knowledge of healthy cooking principles, including oil-free or low-oil cooking methods.
Familiarity with food regulations and nutritional guidelines.
Excellent creativity and problem-solving skills to develop innovative and flavorful recipes.
Strong research and analytical skills to stay updated on industry trends and consumer preferences.
