**Athena Global School is a group of institutions that runs schools at Chidambaram (CBSE),Chennai (Cambridge), and Chengalpattu (CBSE)**

We require a Social Media Manager to manage our social media presence across the accounts. Moreover, the person recruited shall be in charge of maintaining and updating school websites. You will cohesively manage our organisation's image to achieve our marketing objectives.

As a social media manager, we expect you to be up to date on the latest digital technologiesand social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company's viewpoints creatively. Also, you should engage influencers, manage our community by responding to comments, and oversee our customer service across all platforms.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos,videos and news)
- Monitor SEO ( Search Engine Optimization ) and web traffic metrics
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure brand consistency
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly and monitor customer reviews
- Oversee social media account design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager
- Hands-on experience in content management
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
- Solid knowledge of SEO and keyword research
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Familiarity with web design
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and multitasking skills
- Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company and ensure a positive customer service experience.
- Monitor web traffic metrics.
- Communicate effectively to all stakeholders, including senior management and content developers.

**QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelors in Mass media/ Media/ Communication/ Journalism/ Marketing
- 2-4 years of social media management experience

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
