**Job Summary**

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Collections Intern** to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounts receivable management, customer communication, and financial operations. As a Collections Intern, you will assist in monitoring outstanding payments, coordinating with customers, and supporting the collections process to ensure timely resolution of accounts.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in managing and maintaining records of overdue accounts and payments.
- Support the preparation and sending of reminders or dunning letters for overdue payments.
- Research and resolve discrepancies related to customer accounts and payments.
- Update and maintain accurate records in the company’s financial systems or databases.
- Collaborate with the finance and sales teams to resolve payment-related issues.
- Provide regular updates to the collections supervisor on the status of overdue accounts.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and generating reports.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of financial software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on customer service.
