**Job Summary**: The Production Chemist is responsible for overseeing and optimizing chemical manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safety standards. The role involves working closely with production teams to manage daily operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements. The Production Chemist will also be involved in scaling up processes from the lab to full-scale production.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Process Management**:

- Oversee the chemical manufacturing processes to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Monitor and control reaction conditions, such as temperature, pressure, and reaction times.
- Scale up laboratory processes to pilot and full-scale production, ensuring consistency and quality.
- **Quality Control**:

- Conduct routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Analyze data from quality control tests and ensure that products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices, including the proper handling and disposal of chemicals.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate hazards.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Analyze production data to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies and new methodologies.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of production processes, test results, and incidents.
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits, including regulatory submissions.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with other departments, including R&D, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production staff and other team members.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years of experience in a chemical production environment. Experience in a similar role is preferred.
- **Technical Skills**: Strong understanding of chemical processes, analytical techniques, and laboratory instrumentation. Proficiency with process control systems and data analysis tools.
- **Soft Skills**: Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to work in a laboratory and manufacturing environment, including the handling of chemicals and operating production equipment.
- Capability to lift and move materials as required, and to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., temperature fluctuations).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
