As a Merchandiser, you will play a key role in planning, sourcing, and managing the product assortment for retail stores or e-commerce platforms. You will work closely with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the right products are available at the right time and place to meet customer demand and maximize sales. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, creativity, and market knowledge to drive profitable merchandise strategies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends, competitor activities, and sales data to identify opportunities for product assortment and pricing strategies.
- Develop and implement merchandising plans and strategies that align with the company's brand image, target audience, and business objectives in the market.
- Collaborate with buyers, and suppliers to select, source, and negotiate terms for merchandise, ensuring optimal quality, pricing, and availability.
- Manage product assortments, including product selection, assortment planning, and inventory management, to meet sales targets and maximize profitability.
- Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and product turnover rates, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product mix, pricing, and markdown strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and logistics, to ensure timely product launches, promotions, and replenishment.
- Develop visual merchandising guidelines and standards to create appealing product displays and optimize store layout and presentation for maximum impact.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to track order status, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery of merchandise to stores or fulfillment centers.
- Analyze and forecast sales trends, seasonality, and demand patterns to anticipate inventory needs and plan future assortments.
- Monitor and adhere to budgetary constraints, pricing guidelines, and margin targets while making merchandising decisions.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in merchandising, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in merchandising, retail buying, or product management, preferably in the retail industry.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to drive merchandising decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Creative thinking and a keen eye for product selection, presentation, and visual merchandising.
- Proficiency in using merchandising tools and software, such as Excel, SAP, etc.
- Knowledge of retail math, inventory management principles, and pricing strategies.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
