Job Description for AWS System Administrator

JOB TITLE

AWS System Administrator

URGENCY

High

EXPERIENCE

2years - 5years of experience in AWS Server/System Administration

NO OF POSITIONS

1 no. (resources in augmentation/fulltime/contractual)

LOCATION

Kolkata, WB, India

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Procurement of AWS services as when required.

▪ Monitor and manage AWS Servers/Instances and Services.

▪ Flexible to travel to Customer location (within Kolkata) due to P1 issues and

Production Issues or for integration support.

▪ Adaptable to learn new areas for DevOps.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

▪ Should have hands-on experience in all the AWS services such as EC2, EBS, ELB, S3,

SES, Cloud watch, EBS, Route 53, RDS, Identity Access Management (IAM), Elastic

Beanstalk, Lambda, and complete understanding of security groups and VPC.

▪ Setup/manage databases on Amazon RDS like MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle etc.

▪ Setup/manage both Windows and Linux configurations and Server setup on Amazon.

▪ Experience in Creating/Managing AMI/Snapshots/Volumes, Upgrade/downgrade AWS resources (CPU, Memory, EBS).

▪ Ability to manage Cronjobs and scheduling downtimes of the servers for patching, memory upgrades and various configuration activities in coordination.

▪ Experience in Performance monitoring, Security, Troubleshooting, Backup, Disaster

Recovery, Maintenance and Support of Unix systems.

▪ Configure AWS instance, Route 53 to support Domain and SSL certificates.

▪ Ability to create private key certificates, setup VPN tunnelling between AWS and on
- prem servers, setup Apache, Tomcat, Nginx, IIS on AWS instance on Ubuntu, CentOS, and Windows, etc.

Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
