- **The Role**_
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- _**Tekla Modeling**:_
- _Develop comprehensive Tekla models for prefabricated steel structures, including PEB buildings, industrial facilities, and other steel-intensive projects._
- _Create accurate and detailed steel detailing drawings, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications._
- _Generate steel structure fabrication and erection drawings, incorporating necessary dimensions, tolerances, and annotations._
- _Prepare accurate steel Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and purchase lists, coordinating with the purchasing team to procure materials efficiently._
- _**Coordination and Communication**:_
- _Collaborate closely with steel manufacturers to communicate design requirements and ensure seamless fabrication processes._
- _Coordinate with the purchasing team to verify material availability and resolve any procurement issues._
- _Effectively communicate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns._
- _**Automation and Efficiency**:_
- _Leverage Tekla Powerfab and Grasshopper programming to automate repetitive tasks and streamline the detailing process._
- _Develop automated drawing generation scripts to improve efficiency and accuracy._
- _**Quality Assurance**:_
- _Conduct thorough quality checks on all drawings and models to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards._
- _Identify and resolve any errors or inconsistencies in the design or fabrication process._
- **Qualifications and Skills**:_
- _Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field._
