**MOBILE 1000 VAN - JOB DESCRIPTION**

**VAN DRIVER - Should possess Transport Vehicle License, verified by the local police station**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Vehicle Operation**:

- Drive the MMU according to the daily route chart and schedule.
- Ensure safe driving practices and adherence to traffic rules and regulations.
- **Maintenance and Cleanliness**:

- Complete daily maintenance checks on the MMU and promptly notify the MMU Manager of any issues.
- Ensure the MMU is cleaned daily and in good working condition.
- Take the MMU to the Service Centre as per the maintenance/service schedule.
- **Community Support**:

- Assist the SPO/Coordinator/Doctor in mobilizing the community for the General Health Check-up Camp at each location visited by the MMU.
- **Work Schedule**:

- Be available to work occasionally in the evenings and weekends as required by work emergencies.
- **Equipment and Safety**:

- Ensure all MMU equipment is functional and in working condition.
- Park the MMU in a safe location and ensure its security.
- Keep the MMU’s insurance and fitness certificates up to date.
- Notify the MMU Manager about upcoming renewals for insurance and fitness certificates.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain the MMU logbook and Driver Log Book, ensuring they are filled out daily.
- Store all original MMU documents, including registration papers, insurance papers, and fitness certificates, safely in the MMU.
- Ensure your Heavy Motor Vehicle Driver License is up to date and renewed as required.

- Interact politely and compassionately with community members.
