About the Role

As a Product Owner Payments Technology Domain focuses on the development, implementation, and management of payment systems to provide the backbone for secure, efficient, and innovative payment processing for ANZ Bank. Our Domain delivery ranges from in-house engineered solutions, catered to meet complex requirements through to integration of vendor products into the ANZ Banking technology environment

What will your day look like?

Create, build and manage a team to deliver on a product roadmap and vision

Prioritise, sequence and maintain the Product Backlog, working with multiple streams of delivery to streamline robust change across the asset

Convey the vision and goals at the beginning of every Release and Sprint and ensure the Squad remains aligned to these

Engage programme managers and stakeholders to ensure the Squad is building the right product and course corrects if needed

Liaise with tribe leads and other PO's to ensure the squad has the right amount of support required to succeed

Actively participate in daily standups, Sprint Planning, Showcases and Retrospective ceremonies.

Use metrics to ensure feedback from customers is captured as well as continually reviews product progress

Co-develop the squad mission with the Product Area Lead and refine the mission where required

Unify the squad to support the mission and its delivery

Remove roadblocks and manage alignment and interdependencies with other product owners or teams/squads

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
**Blockchain Expertise**: In-depth understanding of blockchain technologies, including distributed ledger systems, consensus algorithms, and smart contracts.

**Technical Proficiency**: Proficiency with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or similar frameworks and cross chain protocols like CCIP, LayerZero etc.,

**Product Lifecycle Management**: Experience in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle in a blockchain environment, from ideation and development to deployment and maintenance.

**Regulatory Knowledge**: Strong awareness of blockchain-related regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring product alignment with legal standards and best practices.

**Stakeholder Collaboration**: Exceptional ability to communicate complex blockchain concepts to non-technical stakeholders, facilitating cross-functional collaboration and alignment.

**Problem-Solving**: Advanced analytical skills to identify and resolve blockchain-specific challenges, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.

**Agile Methodologies**: Proficient in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with a proven track record of delivering blockchain projects in iterative, fast-paced environments.

**Innovation Mindset**: Passion for staying updated with the latest blockchain trends, technologies, and industry developments, driving innovation within the product team.

**Design Thinking**: Expertise in design thinking methodologies to drive innovative solutions and create user-centric products.

**Cross-Platform Development**: Experience with cross-platform development tools and frameworks to ensure seamless performance across various devices and operating systems.

**API Integration**: Experience with integrating APIs and third-party services to enhance app functionality and provide a seamless user experience.
