Tax Paralegal

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will (i) support tax attorneys with client-related work, (ii) develop content for the firm’s newsletter, blog, and website, and (iii) assist with marketing-related activities like managing contacts in HubSpot. **The job does not include tax compliance (i.e., completing IRS or state tax forms)**.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct research on federal, state, and international tax laws and regulations.
- Draft memoranda and summaries for attorneys.
- Develop tax-related content for the firm’s newsletter, blog, and website.
- Assist with maintaining client contacts in HubSpot.
- Assist with outreach campaigns to referral sources and potential new clients.
- Create and maintain an outline of tax law changes based on tax articles we provide.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in U.S. taxation.
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, and Visio).
