**Role Summary**

As a **Legal Expert / Paralegal**, you will be the legal backbone of **MostEdge India**, responsible for proactively managing all **employee-related**, **regulatory**, **contractual**, **audit**, and **compliance** matters. You will work closely with internal teams, advisors, and external legal counsel to ensure that all company operations are legally sound, fully compliant, and audit-ready across state and national jurisdictions.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Legal, Employment & Labor Compliance**
- Draft, review, and maintain employment contracts, NDAs, consultancy agreements, and internal policy documents.
- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws (e.g., Shops and Establishments Act, EPF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).
- Support HR with grievance handling, termination documentation, and dispute resolution.

**Regulatory & Statutory Compliance**
- Track and ensure timely filings under applicable laws—ROC, MCA, labor authorities, and tax authorities.
- Manage licensing and regulatory filings including FDI compliance, GST, and other state-wise permits.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory inspections and inquiries.

**Audit & Risk Management**
- Coordinate with finance, HR, and operations teams during internal and external audits.
- Prepare legal responses to notices or queries from authorities, customers, or vendors.
- Maintain proper records of litigation, arbitration, or other legal matters, if any.

**Contracts & Vendor Management**
- Draft, review, and maintain contracts with vendors, contractors, and partners.
- Ensure all legal clauses meet company interests in vendor MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and service agreements.

**General Corporate & Governance**
- Support company secretarial functions and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Keep track of corporate resolutions, board minutes, and maintain legal documentation.

**Skills & Qualifications**

**Must-Have**
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.
- 4-8 years of experience in corporate legal, compliance, or paralegal roles (preferably in a tech or SaaS environment).
- Knowledge of Indian corporate, labor, data protection, and commercial laws.
- Strong drafting, research, and document management skills.

**Nice to Have**
- Experience in U.S.India cross-border entity compliance or SaaS contracts.
- Exposure to working with multi-state teams and startup ecosystems.
