**Job Title: Storekeeper**

**Location: Varapuzha**

**Job Summary**:The Storekeeper plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining the inventory and stock of materials within the modular furniture factory. They are responsible for overseeing all activities related to the storage, issuance, and monitoring of goods to ensure efficient operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Management**: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory, including raw materials, finished products, and supplies. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials in the warehouse or storage area.

**Receiving and Inspection**: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies. Check for quality, quantity, and accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders or shipment documents.

**Stock Control**: Monitor stock levels and initiate requisitions or orders for replenishment as necessary. Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock discrepancies, spoilage, or wastage.

**Issuance and Distribution**: Process requests for materials or products from various departments. Prepare and dispatch goods to production areas or external customers as per requisitions or orders.

**Documentation and Record-Keeping**: Maintain comprehensive records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, returns, and adjustments. Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.

**Inventory Audits**: Conduct regular stock audits or cycle counts to reconcile physical inventory with records. Identify discrepancies and take corrective actions as required.

**Safety and Compliance**: Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in handling, storing, and transporting materials. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to inventory management.

**Collaboration**: Coordinate with purchasing, production, and finance departments to streamline inventory-related processes. Communicate effectively to address inventory-related issues or requirements.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience 1-2years in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management software/systems and basic computer skills.
- Familiarity with storage and handling requirements for different types of materials.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)
