**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sales and Purchase Entries**: Accurately record and update sales and purchase transactions in Tally, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation of accounts.
- **Ledger Management**: Maintain general ledgers, monitor accounts receivable and payable, and assist with monthly closing activities.
- **Invoice Processing**: Process invoices, ensuring they are properly matched with purchase orders and delivery notes, and ensure timely payment or receipt.
- **Bank Reconciliation**: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial data consistency and integrity.
- **Reporting**: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and trial balances, for management review.
- **Tax Compliance**: Support tax-related activities, including GST, VAT, and TDS filings, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
- **Data Entry**: Ensure accurate and timely data entry into accounting systems, maintaining up-to-date financial records.
- **Assist in Audits**: Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role with hands-on experience using Tally software and has hands of experience in sales and purchase entries.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP software, especially in recording sales and purchase entries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Desirable**:

- Knowledge of GST and other tax regulations.
- Experience with other accounting software is a plus.
