Hardgoods Merchandiser

Decoras USA is an importer of home décor, home furnishing and furniture based in New Jersey (USA).

Decoras was curated to make a space of exceptional design, due deliverance, competitive pricing, bespoke product development, best quality sourcing products from India, China & Indonesia.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the product development team to understand product specifications, quality standards, and target demographics.
- Source, select, and purchase hardgoods products such as furniture, lighting, home accessories, and other decorative items from vendors and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Create visually appealing product displays that highlight the unique features and benefits of each item.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Analyze sales trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product assortment optimization.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and marketing campaigns to drive sales.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and consumer preferences to inform product selection and merchandising decisions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Previous experience in merchandising, retail buying, or product management, preferably in the home decor or hardgoods industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain visual standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with merchandising software or systems.
- Creative flair and ability to think strategically about product assortment and display.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

**Experience**:

- Prior experience in merchandising & sourcing for more than 5 years, preferably with a focus on hardgoods products.
- Familiarity with the entire product design process, from concept development to manufacturing.
- Has in-depth knowledge of Décor ,Seasonal,Lighting, Garden, Furniture and technically sound.
