**Job Description: Accounting and Finance**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting and Finance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for various financial tasks, including daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables, payroll, tax management, assistance with end-of-month close, grant reporting, audit preparation, and other related duties as assigned.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Manage accounts payable and receivables, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Oversee payroll processing, including calculating employee salaries, deductions, and benefits, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Assist with tax management, including preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Provide support during the end-of-month close process, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data
- Prepare grant reports in accordance with funding requirements, ensuring accurate and timely submission
- Assist with audit preparation, including gathering and organizing financial documents, responding to auditor inquiries, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements
- Collaborate with the finance head to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure effective financial management
- Stay updated on relevant accounting and finance regulations and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA or other relevant certification preferred
- Proven experience in accounting and finance roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and financial management software
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹31,000.00 per month
