- Roles and Responsibility- Desired Competencies:
Must-Have:
I Knowledge of IBM iSeries system administration and troubleshooting- Knowledge of IBM iSeries networked systems, access and security guidelines and procedures- Understanding of internal controls and change management processes-
- Skill in prioritizing and balancing multiple tasks- Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships and promoting teamwork- Good working knowledge of MIMIX including upgrade.- Knowledge in WebSphere MQ- Knowledge in SAN V7000, V5000 Storewize- Knowledge in PTF implementation.- Knowledge in OS upgrade- Strong Knowledge of Migration from on-Prem to IBM cloud.- Knowledge in SLIP LIC installation.- Knowledge in MIMIX.- Knowledge in Clusters- Knowledge in Flash copy and Remote copy process.- Knowledge in BRMS networking.- Knowledge in Data Domain- Working Knowledge of Storage V5K, V7K, V5010E.- Knowledge of HALCYON tool.- Adding/Removing resources from LPAR through HMC.- HMC Upgrades, Tape Library Firmware upgrades.- Working knowledge of CL programming languages is preferredRole descriptionsI Knowledge of IBM iSeries system administration and troubleshooting- Knowledge of IBM iSeries networked systems, access and security guidelines and procedures- Understanding of internal controls and change management processes-
