**Job Overview**:
The Electrician Maintenance is responsible for the effective installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment within the facility. The role requires a high level of technical expertise in electrical systems, the ability to diagnose faults, and the capacity to ensure electrical equipment and machinery are operating at optimal levels while adhering to safety regulations and company standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Electrical System Maintenance and Repairs**:

- Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical equipment, systems, and machinery (e.g., motors, generators, electrical panels, transformers, and lighting).
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, identify faults, and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Replace worn-out or defective electrical components like wiring, fuses, breakers, and transformers.
- Maintain and ensure all electrical systems are functioning in compliance with safety regulations and operational requirements.

2. **Installation and Upgrades**:

- Install, test, and commission electrical equipment and systems, including but not limited to switches, circuit breakers, control systems, and lighting.
- Upgrade existing electrical systems to improve performance, energy efficiency, and safety.
- Configure, program, and calibrate equipment as necessary to meet operational demands.

3. **Troubleshooting and Diagnostics**:

- Use advanced diagnostic tools and test equipment (multimeter, thermal imaging, scilloscopes, etc.) to detect faults and ensure proper system performance.
- Resolve electrical issues swiftly to minimize downtime and production disruptions.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of electrical control systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and SCADA systems.

4. **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure all work complies with national electrical codes, safety standards, and local regulations (e.g., OSHA standards).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent electrical hazards and other safety risks.
- Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of personnel during electrical maintenance activities.

5. **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Complete and maintain detailed records of all maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
- Document any electrical hazards, equipment malfunctions, or upgrades for future reference.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports to supervisors or managers.

6. **Collaboration with Other Departments**:

- Work closely with mechanical maintenance teams, engineers, and facility management to ensure all systems are operating smoothly.
- Advise other departments on electrical safety and operational efficiency improvements.
- Provide training and guidance on basic electrical safety and maintenance practices to junior staff and other personnel.

**Experience**:

- At least 2 years of hands-on experience as an electrician in a maintenance or industrial setting.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems and machinery.
- Experience with high-voltage electrical systems, power distribution systems, and industrial electrical equipment.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, circuit breakers, transformers, and control systems.
- Proficient in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools (e.g., voltmeter, ammeter, infrared thermography).
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of electrical control systems, including PLCs, relays, and motor control centers.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on safety.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical staff.
- Strong attention to detail and high work standards
