Hcc Coder

Key Responsibilities:
**Coding and Documentation**:

- Review and analyze nephrology-related medical records to identify and code diagnoses using HCC codes.
- Utilize coding manuals, guidelines, and software tools specific to nephrology to assign appropriate HCC codes.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct audits and reviews of nephrology-related coding to ensure accuracy and compliance with CMS and other regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with nephrologists and other healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.
- Provide feedback and training on nephrology coding practices and documentation requirements.

**Risk Adjustment**:

- Contribute to risk adjustment processes by ensuring accurate coding of nephrology-related chronic conditions and risk factors.
- Analyze coding patterns within nephrology to identify areas for improvement in risk adjustment strategies.
- Stay updated on changes in HCC coding guidelines, particularly those impacting nephrology.

**Experience**:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding, with a focus on nephrology and HCC coding

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
