**Position**: Sales Executive

**Reports To**: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Client Acquisition & Relationship Management**:

- Identify and target new business opportunities in the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including importers, exporters, and freight forwarders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries and providing timely updates on services.
- **Sales & Business Development**:

- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the CFS operations.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to expand the company’s market share in the container freight and logistics sector.
- Promote the company’s CFS services, including container storage, customs clearance, cargo handling, and other value-added services.
- **Market Research & Competitor Analysis**:

- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth and competitive advantage.
- Provide feedback to management regarding market needs, customer preferences, and industry developments.
- **Sales Reporting & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups using CRM tools.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documentation for management review.
- **Collaboration & Coordination**:

- Work closely with the operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.
- Coordinate with the documentation team for timely processing of shipment paperwork, customs clearance, and billing.
- **Customer Service & Problem Resolution**:

- Resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide after-sales support, ensuring clients’ ongoing needs are met.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management in the container freight station (CFS), shipping, or logistics industry.
- **Knowledge**:

- Strong understanding of CFS operations, container handling, customs regulations, and logistics processes.
- Familiarity with the containerized freight industry, including import/export procedures and freight forwarding.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer orientation with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- **Technical**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Knowledge of containerized freight operations and relevant software tools is a plus.
- **Personal Attributes**:

- Self-motivated and target-driven with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional demeanor and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
