Assembly Fitter

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assembly Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of complex Special Purpose Machinery (SPM) equipment. You will work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure the timely and accurate completion of projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assembly & Installation**:

- Assemble SPM equipment according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Install and commission SPM equipment at customer sites, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly and installation issues.
- Conduct pre-startup inspections and performance tests.
- Provide on-site training to customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance.
- **Mechanical Drawing Interpretation**:

- Accurately read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure precise measurements and alignments.
- **Maintenance & Troubleshooting**:

- Perform preventative maintenance on SPM equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Repair and replace worn or damaged components.
- Provide technical support to customers as needed.
- **Travel & Customer Interaction**:

- Travel to customer sites for installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
- **Safety & Quality**:

- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure all work is performed to the highest quality standards.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving efforts.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical/Vocational training in a relevant field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum [Number] years of experience as an Assembly Fitter, preferably in the SPM industry.
- **Skills**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems is a plus.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel extensively.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
