Job Summary:
As a Fitter in our SPM industry, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of special purpose machines used in manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, assembling machine components, ensuring proper alignment, and troubleshooting any mechanical issues. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Assembly and Installation**:

- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to assemble special purpose machines.
- Align and fit machine components accurately to ensure proper functionality.
- Install and set up machinery at client sites, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- **Precision Measurement**:

- Use precision measuring instruments to verify the accuracy of machine components.
- Perform measurements and adjustments to achieve precise tolerances.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct quality checks on assembled machines to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Identify and rectify any defects or deviations from the engineering drawings.
- **Troubleshooting and Maintenance**:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues during machine assembly and operation.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on special purpose machines to ensure optimal performance.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of machine components.
- Communicate effectively with team members to address any challenges or modifications required during the assembly process.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while working with machinery.
- Identify and report any potential safety hazards in the workplace.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Provide feedback on the assembly process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in machine assembly techniques.

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in mechanical fitting is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing or SPM industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹8,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
