**Job Purpose**

Safeguard Company’s interests by providing legal advisory services on any issue, ensuring proper business/legal documents and providing support in litigation

**Business Responsibilities**

**Drafting**
- Drafting and vetting of contracts and ensuring that the associated risks for the Company are minimized
- Participate in negotiation of key business contracts and provide inputs from a legal perspective
- Validate documents and business deals for legal compliance
- Evaluate and ensure due-diligence in legal function
- To provide training to the business users

**Communication**

Establish communication guidelines in line with Company policies

Establish and maintain good working relationships with the relevant law enforcement agencies, trading standards, customs, Intellectual Property Office, Intellectual Property Crime Group and other supporting agencies and organizations

Attend road-shows, trade fares and other focus groups dealing with Intellectual Property issues

**Estate Management**

Manage estate documents and create proper safe to store all important property related documents

**Qualifications**

Essential
- Degree in Law from a recognized University Desired
- Company secretary will be added advantage
