We are recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced Construction Workers in the North of England.

Roles include:
**Carpenter / Joiner 1st, 2nd and Final Fix - £22,800 per annum minimum salary**

Proficient in all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix joinery and able to work to deadlines in place following specifications and specs.

Able to carrying out a majority of the following : Joists, Wall plate staps, Roof trusses, studwork, window boards, door linings, handrails, skirtings, swing doors, fit meter boxes and porch / gallows brackets, door stops, locks / handles.

**Plasterer - £24,900 per annum minimum salary**

Proficient skills in plastering. Able to prepare walls and ceilings and an understanding of which materials are best for various projects

Creating mortar mix, modifying where necessary and ensure the plaster matches the consistency and texture of existing plaster in place already if applicable.

Coating walls with plater and constructing scaffolding for plaster to be applied to ceilings and harder to reach areas. Always working to high standards and ensure excellent finish on jobs carried out.

**General Builder - £23,500 per annum minimum salary**

This post will be required to work on various projects, which will cover renovations and new build and will be supporting other trades on the projects.

Duties will include carrying out building such as brick, in stone, concrete including prefabricated and pre-cast strictures as well as preparing and operating heavy earth moving equipment and machinery.

Working with teams to lay foundations and groundworks, pipe laying and ducting, soundproofing, excavation work as well and dismantling scaffolding.

**Painter / Decorator - £21,900 per annum minimum salary**

All tasks relating to painting and decorating work including preparation and the execution of painting, wall papering and varnishing.

Able to identify where repairs and maintenance work is required as well as hazards and defects and able to repair these to a high standard.

Able to follow instructions and carry out all tasks to the standard required and in the agreed timeframes.

All roles will require:

- Excellent communication skills and able to work well in a team
- Able to use own initiative but equally comfortable taking instructions and following briefs in place
- Able to follow all health and safety rules and guidelines in possible, able to work to the highest standards possible in line with UK legislation
- Good English skills and bale to understand construction / sector related terms (IELTS or equivalent will be required)
- Ideally driving license but not essential
- Own tools / equipment to carry out roles where possible

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: ₹166,000.00 - ₹190,000.00 per month
