**Position Summary**:
The Nursing Supervisor (or Assistant Nursing Supervisor) is responsible for overseeing nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves coordinating daily operations, supervising nursing personnel, managing staffing levels, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate daily nursing operations across assigned units.
- Monitor patient care delivery and intervene as needed to ensure quality and safety.
- Assist in planning and implementing nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations to nursing staff.
- Participate in staff scheduling and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Respond to emergencies and serve as the administrative authority on assigned shifts.
- Conduct rounds to assess care quality and address patient or family concerns.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA, state licensing).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Oversee orientation and ongoing education of nursing personnel.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable with experience.
- **Licensure**: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- **Experience**:

- Nursing Supervisor: Minimum 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Assistant Nursing Supervisor: 2-3 years of clinical experience, leadership potential preferred.
- **Certifications**: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or other specialty certifications may be required based on unit.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in clinical decision-making and critical thinking.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
- Ability to manage time and multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer systems.

**Work Environment**:

- Fast-paced healthcare environment with direct patient care responsibilities.
- May require evening, weekend, or holiday shifts, and on-call availability.
- Physical requirements include lifting patients, standing for extended periods, and responding quickly in emergencies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
