**How You’ll Make an Impact**:
We are looking for an Accounting Associate (Remote, Independent Contractor) that has a minimum of 3 years experience in an e-commerce business dealing with USA &/or Canadian based Mass Merchants. Reporting to the Controller, you will support the Finance and Accounting team.

*Hours of work are 7:00am EST - 3:30pm EST*

**Responsibilities**:

- Accounts Payable: Complete all AP functions including entering bills and making cheques and online payments.
- Accounts Receivable: Complete all AR functions including reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Support the costing and inventory management processes
- Financial Reporting: Assisting with General Ledger Accounting, Financial Analysis and other miscellaneous reporting.

**Who You Are**:

- 3+ years of accounting experience in company that sells through USA/Canadian based Mass Merchants
- University Degree in Accounting
- Experience using Avalara, Microsoft Dynamics 365, MS Business Central is required
- US sales tax experience is required
- Strong Excel skills to create and analyze reports
- Tech-savvy with an ability to learn new systems quickly
- Highly analytical with a keen attention to detail

**NOTE: This is an Independent Contractor role.**
