Mutual Fund Operation

**Overview**:
As a Mutual Fund Operations, your primary responsibility is to oversee the operational aspects of mutual funds, ensuring smooth functioning and compliance with regulations. You will handle various tasks related to trade processing, reconciliations, compliance checks, and client services. Your role is critical in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of mutual fund operations while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Trade Processing**:

- Execute trade orders for mutual fund transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor trade settlements and ensure trades are settled within the specified timeframes.
- Handle trade discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

**Reconciliation**:

- Conduct daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of mutual fund transactions, positions, and cash balances.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified during reconciliations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to ensure accurate reconciliation processes.

**Compliance Management**:

- Stay updated with regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews and audits to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate compliance risks.

**Client Servicing**:

- Provide assistance to clients regarding mutual fund transactions, account inquiries, and operational queries.
- Address client concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

**Reporting and Documentation**:

- Prepare and distribute reports related to mutual fund activities, including trade confirmations, NAV (Net Asset Value) calculations, and performance reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation of transactions, processes, and compliance activities.
- Assist in preparing regulatory filings and responding to regulatory inquiries as needed.

**Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and automation solutions.
- Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices to enhance mutual fund operations.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Relevant certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are a plus.
- Previous experience in mutual fund operations, fund accounting, or related financial services roles.
- Strong understanding of mutual fund industry regulations, including SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) rules and guidelines.
- Proficiency in using financial software and systems for trade processing, reconciliation, and reporting (e.g., Bloomberg, Advent Geneva, Eagle Investment Systems).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude towards resolving issues.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

**Salary**: ₹45,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dadar, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Mutual fund industry: 4 years (preferred)
- Mutual fund operations or Fund accounting: 4 years (preferred)
