**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Alert monitoring-OEM alerts
- Incident and service request monitoring
- DDL, DML queries review and deployment based on scripts provided
- Tablespace resizes/addition of data files.
- OEM knowledge is must and should.
- Archive log management.
- Database housekeeping activity (purging, index rebuilding, reorganization, gathering statistics)
- Experience on Physical Data guard.
- DR sync issue check and 1st level of action (transferring of missing archive files),MRP process check and restart.
- Perform sanity checks
- User, profile creation and access management
- Check DB links that are inaccessible
- Check invalid objects in DB and Fix it.
- Monitor db services via OEM/crontab alerts.
- Knowledge on AutoSys tool
- Provide timely escalation of complex problems to a technical support resource and/or to the appropriate level of onshore.
- Monitor failed database jobs and take appropriate action and escalating to next level if needed.
- DB - Filesystem Space monitoring
- Scheduling jobs on database.
- Database startup and shutdown and how to enable blackouts.
- Performance - ORA errors handle as per knowledge base availability
- DR sync issue 2nd level resolution
- Performing refresh activities table level and schema level.
- Handling issues related to performance.
- Need experience in apps version R12.2
- Must be well versed in tools like OEM/OAM/Forms/workflow
- Concurrent managers and handling front end issues.
- Basic knowledge about the PLSQL, Just to know what the code is doing. DB and app nodes clone/refresh
- Monitoring concurrent requests and report if any issues.
- Knowledge on shell scripting and AWS is plus.
- Knowledge on tools required: TOAD, sqlplus
- Database job creation and configuration
- Providing root cause analysis
- Change management/Release management Planning, Implementation and Execution of CR Change requests
- Performance tuning
- DB2/Postgres knowledge is added advantage.
