Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for an Oracle Apps Database Administrator (DBA), based in Hyderabad. The Oracle Apps DBA will manage the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of Oracle databases. Responsibilities also include overseeing database security, performing troubleshooting, managing database replication, and ensuring high availability and disaster recovery strategies. The role demands close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure a robust and efficient database infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration and general Database Administration practices
  • Experience with Database Replication and Troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and performance
  • Strong knowledge of Database Security protocols and practices to safeguard sensitive information
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Prior experience in an Oracle Apps DBA role is preferred
  • Familiarity with performance tuning, high availability solutions, and disaster recovery planning
